Search underway for missing man from Mullumbimby

A search is underway as police continue their investigation to locate a man missing from Mullumbimby.


Gage Wilson, aged 31, was last seen on Hakea Court, Mullumbimby, about 5am on Saturday 18 May 2024.



A short time later, his vehicle was found abandoned on Koonyum Range Road, Wilsons Creek, after colliding with a tree.


When Gage could no longer be contacted or located, officers attached to the Tweed/Byron Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.



As part of those inquiries, a search of the Wilsons Creek area was conducted yesterday (Monday, 27 May 2024) and will continue today (Tuesday, 28 May 2024).


Residents in the local area are urged to check their properties for any signs of Gage.


Gage is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170-180cm tall with short brown hair and tattoos on both legs and arms.
