The Marist Brothers Rams will head south to take on the Lower Clarence Magpies at the Yamba Sporting Complex on Sunday.

The Round 13 clash is a danger game for the consistent Rams against the Magpies who sit in 12th spot on the ladder.

The Rams coach Darryl Butcher will have his side primed for a strong showing in a match that should cement second spot on the ladder.

Noah King will come into the side on the wing as the only change to last week's side that defeated Mullumbimby 46-12.

Brothers have the best defensive record in the competition and the second-best attack and will look to continue their winning form on Sunday.

The matches in Yamba will kick off with Ladies League Tag at 11:15am, followed by Reserve Grade at 12:30pm and First Grade at 2:20pm.

The NRRRL Board made the decision earlier in the week to cancel the final round of matches (Round 16), in favour of completing the partially completed Round 5, which was washed out in May.

This will mean that Marist Brothers will play their home match against the Tweed Heads Seagulls from Round 5 as their final home game of the season.

Last Saturday Northern United posted their first win of the season after a polished performance saw them run out 58-28 victors over Byron Bay.

Fullback Hezekiah McKenzie crossed for four tries and winger Damian Roberts scored a double and converted six tries for a 20-point individual haul.

Northern United's remaining matches include a home game next weekend against the Lower Clarence Magpies and a yet to be completed Round 5 away match against Evans Head.
