With cloudy skies and rain predicted for the next few days, organisers of the Lismore Car Boot Market have made the call not to hold the outdoor market this Sunday, July 3.
Sad news, we know – both for stall holders and punters looking for food and a bargain.

Held on the first and third Sundays of the month, the market has proved popular since it made a reappearance last month, for the first time since the flood.
Now held in a new location in Lismore CBD - in the carpark at back of the Lismore Quad - the market is subject to the vagaries of the weather.
When the market began, it was held undercover in the carpark of Lismore Shopping Square for 32 years, before moving to a new location. Read more: New beginnings come to Lismore’s Car Boot Market
The market then reappeared at Lismore Showgrounds when Covid restrictions made undercover markets difficult.
The Lismore Car Boot Market joins the Channon Craft market in bringing life back to Lismore’s CBD. Read more: Car Boot and Channon Markets coming to Lismore's CBD
The Channon market will be held in the same carpark on the second Sunday of the month (so, July 10).
If the weather is good, the next Car Boot Market will be held July 17.
