Fifteen-year-old Jade Parkin came off the bench to score the only goal as Alstonville beat Lismore Thistles to reach Football Far North Coast Women's Premier League Grand Final.

The season, albeit shortened due to COVID-19 health regulations, has been history-making for Villa women's team, who have won the Summer Youth Cup, the Callan McMillan Memorial Shield and the Women's Premiership.

The team, coached by Andy Brown, will face Lennox Head in the Grand Final at Crawford Park, Alstonville, on Friday at 7pm. Lennox Head were awarded a 3-0 semi-final win over Byron Bay after a breach of regulations by the Rams.

Brown said the squad lost four players because of the Queensland bubble and then lost the main striker Jessie Jordan, with an ACL injury in the second match of the season.

"Our captain Jade Bates is aged 17 and in her fourth year and most of the players are under 20. Caty Walker, who scored a hat-trick in the Callan McMillan Memorial Shield final, has a lot of experience as a footballer and is 22," said Brown.

"All the players have stood up and work extremely hard for each other."

It was the third time the Villa had played Lismore Thistles in a week and Parkin ensured it was the third victory for Villa.

"It was particularly hot and close to 30C by the time we kicked off," said Brown.

"Thistles always are hard to play against and the girls, from both sides, pushed themselves physically. The effort was extremely high.

"As the match went into the second half, the girls from both sides were tiring."

Brown put on Parkin, who plays in Villa's Under 16 Mixed Team, and the 15-year-old proved the match winner midway through the second half.

"Jade scored when she followed up a shot that rebounded out," said Brown.

Alstonville lost 4-0 to Lennox Head in the Women's Premier League Grand Final last year.

Villa last won the Women's Premier League Grand Final in 2012.

Alstonville side against Lismore Thistles: 1) Abbey Brown; 2. Elsa Brown, 3. Zoe McInnes, 5. Luke Newman, 6. Abbi McInnes, 7. Emma Eichorn, 8. Kaitlyn Jordan, 9. Jade Bates (captain), 10. Caty Walker, 11. Emilie Hughes, 12. Jordan Thomas, 13. Ashleigh Larrescy, 14. Piper Kelly, 15. Freya Kirbach, 16. Jade Parkin.
