Now you are fully vaccinated, how do you download or print the proof so you can get into restaurants, cafes and retail stores on Monday?
The process to download or print your COVID-19 digital certificate can be daunting depending on your level of computer literacy.
Healthy North Coast have released an explanation with links to the Services Australia website to guide you through the task.
There are 2 ways to show proof of vaccination.
If you’re eligible for Medicare, you can download your COVID-19 digital certificate and immunisation history statement using:
If you’re not eligible for Medicare, you will need an Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI) to get your proof online.
If you don’t already have an IHI, you can apply for one and link it using the Individual Healthcare Identifiers service (IHI service) through myGov.
If you can’t get proof of your vaccination online, your vaccination provider can print your immunisation history statement or COVID-19 digital certificate for you.
You can also call the Australian Immunisation Register on 1800 653 809 (8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday) and ask for your statement or certificate to be posted to you. It can take up to 14 days for your statement or certificate to arrive in the post.
Good luck!
