The Trinity Lismore Swimming Club have a large contingent of athletes competing at the 2021/2022 NSW Senior State Age Swimming Championships at Homebush.
Coach Simon Watkins has ten swimmers at the meet and all have large programs to contend with.
The seven female and three male athletes will contest a total of 74 individual swims across the six day meet.
Niquola White (7 events), Lilly Geddes (11), Sophie Mayes (9), Beth Lockwood (3) will all contest the 16 and 17 years age groups with Indigo Creighton (9), Bella Teale (9) and Andrea Thomson (8) all having busy schedules in younger age divisions.
Harry Kilburn will contest nine events and Sylas Phillips (5) in the 15 years boys, and Mitchell Hickey with four events in the 17 years boys.
After Day 1 of competition, Indigo Creighton finished 4th in the 14 years 50m Backstroke Final, Sophie Mayes was 5th in the 16 years 100 Freestyle Final, Sylas Phillips 5th in the 15 Years 200m Backstroke Final and Bella Teale was 9th in the 14 years 50m Backstroke Final.
Swimmers from Alstonville, Casino and Lismore Workers Swim Clubs are also in attendance at the Championships.
Heats and Finals continue through until Tuesday.
