Lismore District Netball Association’s winter season is approaching their half way mark and even though it may be early to be thinking about grand final time, who exactly will make the finals this year is the sixty-four-thousand-dollar question.

Publicity Officer and coach for the Summerlanders, Jacqui Walker said it will be exciting with all the fresh blood coming up in the ranks, some of the girls playing at representative and state level already.

“Division 1 this year is seeing new teams come into the fold.

“Young girls are coming out of Inters and playing in Senior teams,” Ms Walker said.

In the senior women’s division 1 competition, Bundjalams lead on the ladder at 24 points with SCU Italo Aussies close behind them on 21 points.

“Summerlanders and Daleys always have a friendly competition on the court.

“Today the mystics played the devils, but the devils came out on top today,” Ms Walker said.
