Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions this week to carry out safety improvement work at Fairy Hill on Summerland Way, north of Casino. 

Single lane alternating traffic flow arrangements will be in place while we widen the road shoulder and install additional safety barriers on a one-kilometre section of road.

The work will be carried out from 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday and is expected to be completed in three months, weather permitting.

Traffic control and a reduced speed limit will also be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, follow the directions of signs and traffic controllers and allow extra travel time.
