Richmond Police District has released the profiles of a high number of people throughout the Northern Rivers who are wanted for warrants and are seeking the public's help to find them.

The 21 people wanted are both women and men. NSW Police say this is a tactic they have used in the past, with positive results, so they have chosen to do so again. Lismore App asked if there had been an increase in crimes, particularly theft, assault and domestic violence crimes, but have been told that "anecdotally, there is no evidence of a rise in crime in the last 4 month period"

While an Elder in the community, this week reported in Lismore and particularly up in Goonellabah that there had been a sharp increase in crime such as these listed, along with an increase in drug and alcohol use, but wished to remain anonymous.
