Motorists are advised of changed overnight traffic conditions on the Pacific Motorway from Tuesday to complete installation of traffic monitoring equipment at New Italy.

Work to install variable message signs and an average speed camera, will be carried from 9am to 5am from Tuesday 4 October to Thursday 6 October, weather permitting. 

There will be some temporary traffic changes to ensure the work zone is safe, including closure of the shoulder and first lane in each direction.

There will be a reduced speed limit of 40km/h during work hours for the safety of workers and motorists. 

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
