The two-day annual Young Guns Titles races at Lismore Kart Club is underway with more than 60 children, aged from seven to 15 years, taking part.
Lismore Kart Club President Di Smith told the Lismore App that the event was the biggest the club had put on with "over $20,000 in the prize pool".

"This is going to be great racing. We conducted a survey earlier in the year and have taken all that was asked for on board. There will be more laps, it is for the kids and we are catering everything for the kids from drivers briefing, racing and fun," she said in a statement.
"There are huge trophies, big prize pools, and new to the event we are having lazer tag on Saturday afternoon and BBQ, music and your all welcome to sing a-long! - It's going to be a hoot!"
