Women's and Girl's Rugby Union is alive in Lismore

Lismore Rugby Clubs Women's and Girl's programs are growing and the club is recruiting.

Former Club President Peter Everingham was a strong advocate for female rugby and he has recently handed the presidential reins over to Emily Cox who is keen to continue the momentum.

The 2022 was a successful season for the club, with the U/16 Girls team making the Grand Final and the Women's 10's side taking out the Major Premiership in terrific style over Casuarina.

The club will look to field teams in U/13, U/15 and U/17 Girls and the Women's 10's competitions in 2023, along with the Men's First and Second Grade and Colts competitions.

All women and girls interested or who would like to make further enquiries can contact the club via their Facebook site or via Emily Cox on 0401 887 808.
