Why 258 golfers played an event at Lismore Workers Golf ClubLismore Workers Golf Club Fishing Club's Hambrose afternoon winners Mark Oaten, Shane Prodger, Damian Price and Aaron Ryan

A record 258 players, men and women golfers, took part in the annual Lismore Workers Golf Club Fishing Club "Hambrose" event.


The event is open to male and female players and has grown in popularity to the extent the day had to be split into morning and afternoon competitions with more than 40 hams on offer.


The morning winners this year were Tim Gilmore, Adam Rhodes, Peter Jeuken, Scott Quinn with a cracking score of 51.5. The afternoon winners, pictured, were Mark Oaten, Shane Prodger, Damian Price, Aaron Ryan with 54.25.


"Please give a special mention to the Fishing Club members who put on a delicious bbq for all players," Lismore Workers golf Club President Tim Gilmore.

Morning

Winners: Tim Gilmore, Adam Rhodes, Peter Jeuken, Scott Quinn (51.5); Runners Up: David, Darren and Bob McClelland, Travis Jackson (52.63); 3rd: Rhonda, Brian. Blake, Cameron Johnson (53.63); 4th: Pat McCabe, Peter Sullivan, Darran Singh, Benjamin Benn (54.12); 5th: Jai Hong, Robert Craig, Col Lavis, Jason Franke (55.12); 6th: Nathan, Harry, Vicki and Allan White (55.25 c/b); Kane McNamara, Jasen Elford, Brett Forrester, Rick Savins (55.25).


Afternoon

Winners: Mark Oaten, Shane Prodger, Damian Price, Aaron Ryan (54.25); Runners Up: David Hunter, Craig Lumley, John Bridge, Ben Dakin (54.62); 3rd: Mick and Diane Cahill, David Hill, Brad McLennan (55.12). 4th: Brendon and Jordan Sheaffe, Ben and Sam Sharkey (55.25); 5th: - Peter Moehead, Wayne Burgess, David Leadbeatter, Robert Venn (55.37); 6th: Kevin and Nick Magarry, Kevin Copas, John Zorzo (55.62 c/b); Gary Barnett, Phil Stephens, Phil and Tom Molloy (55.62).


Tom Molloy achieved a hole-in-one on the 5th.
