What's Open: Some new and some future reopenings like BCC Cinema

Welcome to Monday! We have some showers on the way at the end of the week and over the weekend so make the most of the fine conditions now.

Lismore has had a quiet week of new businesses reopening in Lismore, South Lismore, North Lismore and East Lismore, however, there is some information on future reopenings to read below.

Tony Darraghs Haircutting for Men is open 9am - 2pm Monday to Friday in Hillview Drive, Goonellabah. Tony was previously in Magellan Street and is currently working from home until his shop can reopen. Please call Tony on 0422 829 084.

Officeworks at 250 Molesworth Street, Lismore CBD is reopening this Wednesday 24th August 2022 at 7am. Operating hours are 7am - 7pm Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm Saturday and 9am - 5pm Sunday

Zambrero will be a new addition to the Cafes & Eateries button in What's Open with the announcement they will reopen on Wednesday, August 31 at 38 Ballina Road, Lismore CBD.

Westpac and St George will leave the CBD block (Molesworth and Woodlark Street) and are building a new $1.3 million branch in the Lismore Square which is expected to open mid-October.

Lismore Central Shopping Centre has said the following retailers will be reopening at Lismore Central following their external work on the facades and store branding:

* CTC

* Rainbow Nails

* StepzFitness

* PJ's Country Fruit & Veg

* Burrito Bar

* Mr Mozzarella

* Mane St Unisex Hair Salon

Woolworths in Lismore Central Shopping Centre just spent $5.5 million 3,200 sqm upgrade which was revealed last Thursday.

While it is difficult to find information on the larger national retailers like Lincraft, Best and Less and BCF the Lismore App can tell you that Lismore's BCC Cinema looks likely to reopen.

A BCC spokesperson said, "Regarding BCC Lismore, the site has been significantly damaged due to flooding and our team is working hard, decommissioning the flood damage. At this stage we don’t have a set timeline, however, will reach out to you via Cinebuzz, and on our Facebook site as things progress."

If you are reopening or know of a business that has reopened, please let the Lismore App know so we can add to our growing list of over 350 businesses in the What's Open button. Email simon@lismoreapp.com.au.
