What's Open: New month and more new businesses reopening

We have moved through the 4-month mark since the crippling February 28 floods ripped Lismore apart.

As each week passes there is a new sense of optimism for our city both in the short term and in the longer term as the NRRC starts to take shape.

This week will see the reopening of quite a few more local businesses including the Lismore Shopping Square on Wednesday. Of course, not all parts of the Square will be open but Woolworths and about 20 specialty stores will give you a taste as to what life will be at the Square moving forward. More information during the week.

Thirteen more businesses have or will reopen in the CBD, South or North Lismore this week. Check them out:

REDinc. Realising Every Dream - 87A Magellan Street Lismore. Our new Arts Studio Program in Lismore will begin commencing from the 4th of July. If you would like to book into any of the

Lismore programs please let the Intake Team know or call our Lismore office on (02) 6622 3400.

Northern Rivers Pilates - 210 Keen Street Lismore. Come and visit our new space that opened on the 2nd of July. Free classes from 9am-12pm only a few spots left. Book Via MIND BODY or ring Maddison on 0413090265.

The Bank Cafe & Espresso at 67 Molesworth Street, CBD is open this Wednesday, June 29. We've been beaten, we've been bruised, but you can't keep us down! Coming back we're going to keep it simple, and with time, slowly expand back to full force. The cafe will trade 7am-2pm Wednesday to Sunday. We will look to expand back to 7 days a week trading once we secure more staff.

Inka & Co women's clothing store will be reopening in the Strand Arcade. The work has started and an opening date will be released soon.

My Tailoress now trading as Paris in the Strand had its grand reopening last Thursday, June 30. Like many, My Tailoress was part of the devastating February floods. After processing the shock the whole town faced we saw this as an opportunity to take the lemons and make a cocktail! This was a perfect opportunity to rebrand & offer the Northern Rivers an enchanting formal dress boutique - Paris in the Strand.

The Dulux Trade Centre in Lismore has re-opened at 2/123-125 Woodlark Street, Lismore. Open 6am - 4 pm Monday to Friday. Closed weekends. Ph. 0266214927

We love Lismore and we can't wait to get back to doing what we do best - providing our community with quality kitchenware, jewellery and gifts at excellent prices. Lismore Toyota has reopened its Sales, Service and Parts in South Lismore. It's been a tough couple of months but we are excited to announce our service, parts & sales teams are all operating again. Call us on (02) 5624 7400.
