Wet weather wreaks havoc with Speedway

Continued wet weather has given Lismore Speedway promotor David Lander no option but to cancel tonight's meeting.

The track was inspected this morning and was deemed to have too much water for the meeting to proceed.

The track could not be prepared in time, with machinery unable to access the track.

Tonight's 40 lap Mr Modified Final was to be supported by Speedcars, Wingless Sprints, Production Sedans and Junior Sedans.

This was a tough decision to make after already losing next Tuesday's much anticipated Sprintcar Meeting after border restrictions and metropolitan Brisbane's lockdown left the venue with no other choice.

Over twenty Sprintcars where scheduled to head south for the meeting, prior to the additional restrictions.
