We have reported extensively this week on all things wild weather, and yesterdays wind gusts felt by many certainly added to the wildness, however, the good news is that things seem to be calming down just in time for the weekend!

Yesterday saw some river heights in the region reach the minor flood level's before receding by last night's readings back below them, with warnings issues around potential flooding for residents of Coraki and Bungawalbyn for the Richmond River, and on the coast, marine wind warnings as a strong wind blew from the afternoon, 63km/h recorded at Lismore Airport and on the coast, overnight.

Rainfall between 9am Friday to 9am today was much less than in the past few days, but still reasonable to add to the already saturated creeks, rivers, dams and ground with Alstonville STP site recording 10mm, Tuckombil recording 19mm and Nashua recording 11mm. The Dawson St and Lismore Airport readings were considerably lower at 4mm and 4.8mm respectively, and at Goolmangar only 1mm was recorded.

Today the sun shone earlier, but there is more rain predicted tonight with 1-5mm across the Lismore region and to the coast. Sunday's forecast is for 0 to 3mm of rain.
