The countdown to Christmas is well and truly on with just less than 3 weeks away until the big day.

School has about a week and a half to run before we start seeing a lot of young people around town and in the shops with families.

Shopbaby Carols In The Heart, as the Lismore App Countdown Clock says is 6 days away, this Sunday, December 11 at Nesbitt Park, South Lismore from 4:30pm - 9pm. At this stage the weather is looking good with a comfortable top of 24 degrees. You can also create your own Lismore Delights Tee or Tote with Nedlands Studio’s free screen printing workshop at Carols.

Lismore Delights enters week 2 and is jammed-packed with some wonderful and exciting activities for Christmas.

The weather was unkind for the launch of Lismore Delights last Thursday but don't let some rain stop you from enjoying some delights with another evening of Late Night Shopping in the CBD Block so you can Eat, Shop and Be Merry.

Family fun includes the Construction Central LEGO CHALLENGE for kids at the Lismore Transit Centre, faces painting at Magellan Street, and the delightful Christmas Belles carolling on the streets!

Music lineup at the Transit Centre features Uncle Billy at 4pm, Mish Songsmith at 4.30pm, and Jimmy Willing & The Real Gone Hick-Ups from 6-8pm

Very Merry Markets at and around the Quad, 3pm - 7.30pm. Enjoy festive food, music, art and culture presented by Lismore Regional Gallery, Lismore Library, Northern Rivers Conservatorium and Lismore Produce Markets

In what has been the toughest year in record for the Lismore business community, you can show your support by dining at our fabulous restaurants and cafes.

Then do some local Christmas shopping at the many participating retail shops throughout the CBD Block.

Santa arrived into Lismore last Thursday so visit him at his Santa's Wonderland home at 46 Magellan Street (opposite the Pie Cart), Wednesday to Sunday 10am-2pm and Thursday evening 4-6pm. Bookings are essential for photos with Santa.

On Saturday 10th December you can also write your letter with Santa’s Scribes, performed by Roundabout theatre!
