After two glorious winter days we can expect some rain and a possible thunderstorm to kick off the weekend on Saturday.

Alex Majchrowski from the Bureau of Meteorology said we can expect a cooler change on Saturday morning that will contain about 10-15mm of rain. There will be some gusty north westerly winds with the change.

The predicted amount of rainfall could well increase if the possible thunderstorm eventuates on Saturday afternoon/evening.

We will have a cloudy morning on Sunday but conditions will move back to clear blue skies and warmer temperatures as we progress through next week.

Temperatures will hit 25 today, 22 for Saturday and Sunday with mid-twenties expected for the middle of the week.
