Vinnies Lismore reopened at a new location on Monday after receiving substantial damage to their shop from the 2022 flooding natural disaster.
The new location at 59 Woodlark Street received a warm reception, with many locals visiting to view the new shop.
Vinnies North East Manager Kim Boyd said it was great to be back.
"It was exciting to be back after being absent and closed after so long following such a dramatic event," she said.
"To engage with the community again was really good, and the turnout to welcome us back was fantastic to see."
Kim said the decision to relocate was due to extensive damage from the flood, with their new premises now situated on Woodlark Street.

"Our previous location on Magellan Street suffered too much damage to the property, which requires a big financial cost to return," she said.
"We have taken a five-year lease in this new premises, which is an excellent spot. Woodlark Street is starting to come alive, with a shop next to us and opposite us getting a fit out."
Kim also said that Vinnies support for our community continued while they were rebuilding.
"The society supported our community immediately following the flood by depositing funds into flood victim's accounts," she said.
"We are still on the ground financially supporting people as they recover. The shop is where we would usually raise funds to assist the community; however, while the shop was unavailable, we could draw funds from other areas to ensure we kept financially supporting those in need."
Kim mentioned the new shop has plenty of options available for shoppers.
"We have predominately textiles like clothing for men, women and kids, shoes, bags, and so many other items," she said.
"We also have giftware, books, DVD jewellery, plus more."
You can support Vinnies and our community by visiting Vinnies Lismore at 59 Woodlark Street Monday to Saturday 9am to 4pm.
