A man critically injured in a motorcycle crash this morning is being flown from Lismore Base Hospital to Gold Coast University Hospital by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
A Rescue Helicopter spokesperson said the urgent Inter Hospital Hospital Retrieval was for a 17 year old male suffering a serious head injury.
"The male will be stabilised at Lismore by the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team prior to being flown direct to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition," the spokesperson said.

A man involved in a motorbike accident in Goonellabah was taken to Lismore Base Hospital this morning in critical condition.
NSW Ambulance said paramedics were called just after 1am to attend the accident scene at Oliver Avenue and Pineapple Road.
"NSW Ambulance responded to reports of a single motorcycle accident," a NSW Ambulance spokeperson said.
“Paramedics treated a male in his later teens for a head injury on scene.
“He was taken by ambulance to Lismore Base Hospital in a critical condition.”
