NSW Ambulance staff have confirmed that a woman in her 70s was taken to Lismore Base Hospital, following a car accident on Ballina Road this afternoon.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said the woman was in a stable condition and had some abraisions.
She said the accident involved a single car that had collided with a power pole.
The Lismore App understands that the power was out on High Street, and surrounding areas following the accident, but is now restored.

NSW Ambulance staff were called to the scene of a car accident on Ballina Road this afternoon.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said at 1.20pm this afternoon, the NSW Ambulance Service was called to the scene where a car had crashed into a power pole.
The spokesperson said he was still waiting for more details on the transported patient.
Traffic is still backed up and moving slowly on the busy road, near Rotary Drive.
