Tursa Employment & Training has aligned with Football Far North Coast as the major strategic partner of the 2026 pre-season competitions.

This relationship continues a long historical connection between two of the most significant organisations in the region.

The Tursa Employment & Training ANZAC Day Cup was first contested in 1950 providing 75 years of historical significance. Competitions will be contested in the Men’s Premier league, Open A, Open B, Open C and junior 16’s (with each competition subject to nominations received).

Women’s pre-season competitions will see the Tursa Employment & Training Callan McMillan Memorial Shield played in two divisions. proceed. Female football continues to grow with more than 2500 female players now participating locally each season. 

Registrations for next season will open early February, with more than fifty teams anticipated to be nominated for the pre-season competitions.

Season 2026 is anticipated to see registrations again surge to near 8000 players and several thousand other registered participants.
