If you are travelling south on the Pacific Motorway this week, be prepared for some delays as Transport for NSW carries out bridge maintenance and asphalt patching work.
The Harwood Bridge maintenance work begins at 6am tomorrow (Monday, May 12) until 12 midday Wednesday, May 14 with contraflow lane closure of the bridge and a 40km/h speed limit in place for the safety of motorists and workers.
Intermittent stoppages might be required, and motorists can expect delays of up to five minutes.
Then on Thursday, May 15 work will be carried out from 6.30am to 4pm at Farlows Overbridge, and on Friday, May 16, near Ferry Park.
Traffic control will be in place at each location during work hours.
Alternating traffic flow and a reduced speed limit will be in place Farlows Overbridge and a single lane closure on the southbound carriageway of the Pacific Motorway will be in place near Ferry Park.
Intermittent stoppages might be required, and motorists can expect delays of up to five minutes.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
