Live Traffic NSW has the Bruxner Highway to Ballina open and clear at this time.

ORIGINAL STORY

People travelling to Ballina or to Lismore from Ballina or Evans Head are experiencing traffic delays on the Bruxner Highway due to roadworks.

The road work, complete with mobile traffic lights, are near the 80 km an hour zone approaching Wollongbar and as you can see by the photos sent to the Lismore App, there is quite a queue at certain times of the day.

Details of the roadworks and exactly what is being are done is difficult to find, with Ballina Council and Services NSW both having nothing on record.

At this time, we can only inform you to allow more time when travelling but not how long the delays will last for, days or weeks.
