Sunday brings some traffic changes to the Ballina Road bridge over the Wilsons River.

The westbound lane will be closed while Transport NSW crew do repairs to a bridge joint and conduct minor maintenance to ensure the bridge continues to provide safe and reliable service for motorists.

Work will be carried out from 7am on Sunday 18 April and is expected to be complete by 5pm, weather permitting. 

Traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
