The Bruxner Highway between South Lismore and Loftville will be closed for pavement upgrades from 6 o'clock tonight.

Work will be carried out from 6pm to 6am and is expected to be completed by Friday, 6 February, weather permitting. There will be no work on Saturday nights.

During work hours, traffic will be detoured via Krauss Avenue. Access to businesses and properties in the work area will be maintained.

Oversize and overmass (OSOM) vehicles more than 3.5 metres wide intending to travel through the work sites must call the project team on 0428 402 955 at least 24 hours prior to travel.

Motorists are advised to allow up to five minutes’ extra travel time, drive to traffic conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
