It is a top-of-the-table clash for the Lismore Storm Men's Division 1 side when they take on the Valley Braves on Saturday afternoon.
The Storm sit in second place on the ladder, and they host the undefeated Braves at the Lismore Stadium at 3:00pm.
The Lismore side had a strong 17-point victory over Ballina last round and will look to pressure the Braves' offence.
The southern side are the defending Sunshine Conference champions, and the Storm will need an all-round performance to challenge the Bellingen-based side.
Big games are expected from Kaleb Jeffery, Toby Barlow and Zac Knight, with several of the younger Lismore players ready to step into the limelight on Saturday afternoon.
The Lismore Storm Women will match up against the Coffs Harbour Suns after the Men's Division 1 match, and again it will be a tough assignment for the Lismore side, who sit in third on the ladder.
The Suns currently lead the competition but have not played a match in a number of weeks due to forfeiting to the Storm in October and having Byron Bay forfeit in the following round.
The Storm will welcome back Alissa McWhirter and will look for scoring input from Kiara Richardson, Makayla Greensill, Grace Simpson and Poppy Latta.
The Women's match will start at 5:00pm at the Lismore Basketball Stadium.
In the first match of the day, the Division 2 Men will also play the Valley Braves for the first time this season and will be looking for a morale-boosting win in front of a vocal home crowd.
The side has shared the scoring around well this season and a complete team effort should see the Storm side take home the points.
It is a big day of basketball at the Albert Park courts, with action from 1:00pm through to approximately 6:30pm on Saturday.
The junior Storm teams will also be in action across the weekend with the fourth round of the North Coast Shield being held in Ballina.
