Move, relax and stretch in a free Tai Chi tomorrow, Tuesday, March 3 is free (yes FREE!).
If you have never tried Tai Chi, but have been intrigued watching others doing Tai Chi, tomorrow is your chance to join in, in a friendly and accepting environment - at a regular beginner class.
This month Tai Chi instructor, Rhiana, will hold free community sessions every Tuesday starting at 10am on March 3 at The Quad.
Health benefits include improved circulation, balance and posture, increased strength and flexibility, and reduced stress.
Feel free to drop by any of our classes and meet our instructor.
Wear loose clothing and flat footwear, and bring a yoga mat.
Rhiana has been a dedicated Tai Chi practitioner for over 10 years, she studied un Chen Zaozen in Chen Jiagou in China.
The form that Rhiana will be teaching is a Yong style, developed by one of the sons of Yong whilst doing a 20 year prison sentence, hence can be performed in a 6sqm room.
The class will begin with some Toaist yoga followed by some stretching and then form practice with the aim of learning where our bodies are at, keeping in mind that everyone’s Tai Chi is perfect, experience the joy of connecting with our bodies.
