Three young people arrested for alleged break and enter in Goonellabah

Goonelabah has seen social media posts about increased criminal activity in the past few weeks sending out a warning to other homeowners to be vigilant with locking their cars and house doors.


Last night, Lismore General Duties Police arrested three young persons for their alleged involvement in a break and enter at a house in Earls Court, Goonellabah last night.



The young persons aged 13 and 14 were conveyed to Lismore Police Station where they were charged with Aggravated Break & Enter dwelling etc in company steal <=$60000. They were granted conditional bail to appear before Lismore Children's Court on the 6th of August.


A motor vehicle was stolen from a home in Canterbury Chase, Goonellabah last night was also recovered by police a short time later in Carson Street, Goonellabah.


It was seized for forensic examination as the investigation continues.
