Nimbin Central School's Mikayla Frey has leapt to her third National Title after winning gold at the Australian All Schools National Athletic Championships.
The Championships were held at Lakeside Stadium in Melbourne and drew athletes from across the country from 4-7 December.
Frey competed in the Long Jump and Triple Jump, having previously won the Triple Jump title two years in a row.
Mikayla finished 5th in the Long Jump with a leap of 5.38m, an amazing effort in itself, but it was the Triple Jump that she excelled in.

Having won her first National title aged 14 with a leap of 11.75m and backing it up last year, Frey was ready to earn the three-peat.
Competing in the U/17 event, Mikayla jumped a personal best (PB) of 12.69m, dominating the field, with an astounding 80cm separating her from the next-best competitor.
By winning the event, she successfully secured her third consecutive National All-Schools title in Triple Jump.
Her jump of 12.69m currently ranks her in the top 10 in the world for the U/17 age group (athletes born 2009), in the triple jump.
An amazing achievement for a junior athlete based in country NSW.
After being crowned Australian Champion for the third year in a row, she has her eyes set on qualifying for international competitions in 2026 and beyond.
