Today's rainy patches came from a front pushing across from the west, that will continue across the Northern Rivers into Monday and Tuesday.
This will see rainfalls from about 5 to 20mm in most places, but a few isolated pockets between 30 to 50mm in the higher elevations.

This rain will be clearing by Wednesday morning in the Northern Rivers, producing a few clear days for these sodden parts.
A chilly end to the week is predicted, with another front coming across from the west, but it should not bring us more rain at this stage.
If we stay this course, it means we ought to have a mainly clear weekend.
