Lismore Kart Club's Young Gun Titles, twice cancelled due to the Queensland Government Travel Bubble, are being held over the weekend.
Lismore Kart Club President Diana Smith said close to 40 people have registered to race and she was aware of technical issues with inter-state licences.
"We are racing and it is so good our friends from the Gold Coast can now enter. Een our club members were in the bubble," said Smith.
The Young Gun Titles is a major event on the calendar and contestants will come from far and wide.
Nominations for racing will be closed by Friday lunchtime to enable the club to finalise classes running.
There is a prize pool of more than $10,000 and the Young Gun Titles, with two days of racing, serves as ideal practice for the NSW Titles at Port Macquarie next month.
Lismore Kart Club's Young Gun Titles, Dunoon Road, North Lismore (next to Lismore Showground) is on Saturday and Sunday.
