After an unusually quiet weekend seven days ago with most owners taking a well earned break, it is back to normal this weekend, at least for the markets anyway.
The Lismore Farmers Markets are back in action tomorrow morning for the new year from 8am with all the farm fresh produce you can want at the Lismore Showgrounds. The Blue Knob Markets are closed for another week returning January 11.
The Lismore Vintage and Handmade Markets is on at 152 Keen Street, Lismore between 10am and 2pm while the Lismore Car Boot Markets make its return on Sunday from 7:30am until 2pm.
The music scene is still quiet while the T20 Hooker Como series kicks off the new year. More in Sport with Ian Horswill over the weekend.
A reminder that there is a Total Fire Ban across NSW today and tomorrow so there are to be no open fires lit and all fire permits are suspended. Gas and electric barbecues may be used provided certain conditions are met.
The Far North Coast fire danger is high with temperatures expected in the mid 30's Saturday and Sunday (Weather).
That is the Weekend Wrap, short and sweet. Enjoy.
