The Sunshine Basketball Conference is set to tip off on Saturday 30 July for the 2022 season.
Like most sporting competitions, the Sunshine Conference has been cancelled during 2020 and 2021 at various times due to COVID.
However the 2022 version is ready to hit the courts and it will be the biggest year in the competitions history.
The Coffs Harbour Suns will enter the competition for the first time after Bellingen Valley Braves joined several years ago.
The Women's Competition will tip off with Byron Bay hosting the Ballina Breakers at 11am next Saturday (30 July) at the Cavanbah Centre, Ewingsdale.
The ladies will see teams from Byron, Ballina, Lismore, Bellingen and Coffs Harbour contest over 20 matches between July and the Final Series in November.
The Men's Competition will commence with the Byron Bay Beez hosting Ballina at 2pm, before the Lismore Storm start their season with a home clash against the Grafton Vikings, tipping off at 6pm.
The Men's Competition will see these four teams joined by Bellingen and Coffs Harbour to make a strong northern New South Wales competition for senior basketball.
