The Lismore Samson Fitness Challenge held last weekend was another great success. It is not yet known how much money was raised for Our Kids but rest assured the money will go to a great cause.
In its thirteenth year; the Lismore Samson – Powered by 9NBN gathered competitors from across the state and South East Queensland, all competing to win the Samson Title.
Teams took from 1 hour 8 minutes to nearly two hours to finish the difficult course, which in itself is as rewarding as winning a trophy.

The new category is Samson TAS Junior, and The Armidale School Team 4 took out this category.
“Samson 2023 was a huge success; it was wonderful to gather people again and see so many giving the Samson a crack,” Rebekka Battista, Fundraising Coordinator, said.
“This year’s event raises funds for a Resuscitaire for Children’s Ward at Lismore Base Hospital, worth $37,000, calculations are still being done, but we are confident we will be close. Which will be amazing if we do.” Rebekka said.
