A new flood and more headaches for delivery services coming into Lismore with most access points closed but slowly reopening when floodwaters recede enough to open roads.

Australia Post not only has road network problems but a number of delivery centres are closed at the same time multiplying delivery delays.

Australia Post has provided the Lismore App with an update on your mail and parcels.

"Heavy rain and flooding are disrupting services in impacted areas of NSW and Qld which may disrupt our ability to deliver merchants and consumers and to make collections."

"Our transport and delivery teams are continually assessing flood impacts and we will make every effort to deliver and collect where it is safe to do so."

"Tracked items will be delivered as soon as it is safe to do so. Express Post and StarTrack Premium items are also being prioritised."

"Mullumbimby, Lismore and Alstonville delivery centres are not operational with no or limited access. All other facilities are operational."

"A pop-up site at Milperra has been set up to work through a backlog of parcels for Lismore. Parcels will be dispatched in chronological order."

"The Pacific Highway has reopened with two lanes and road conditions will be reviewed this morning to determine recommencement of transport."

"StarTrack deliveries of Lismore freight have been suspended with freight stored in Coffs Harbour."
