The Darrel Chapman Fun Run has proved to be a roaring success again in 2023.
Sunday morning saw over 700 men, women, children and canines take to the streets and roads of Lismore to raise money for the Our Kids charity.
The competitors and supporters managed to raise over $17,000 for the local charity that raises money to support the Children's Ward at Lismore Base Hospital.
The 725 participants ran, walked and jogged the 4km, 10km and 21km courses, with several outstanding performances.
The 10km event was again won by Tony Johnston in a time of 36mins 53 secs, winning by over a minute and a half from Jaime Cascajares and Dylan Wilson.
Thomas Menger was in fourth place but took out the Male Teen category in a time of 40:13.
Samantha Nicholls won the Open Women's Division in a time of 43:39 in a close finish from Sharee Webber, just 5 seconds behind.
Steve Shaw took out the Male Masters category in a slick 42:44.

In the 21km event, David Mildren crossed the line in first place in a time of 1hr 25 min 53 secs. Mildren was just over one minute ahead Harley Brown (1:27:09) and Jackson Burton (1:30:32).
Larissa Whitton took out the Women's 21km race in a very impressive time of 1:38:42 and Steve Kennedy topped the Men's Masters category in 1:47:07.
The 4km run/walk was not officially timed, but winners were not yet available.
