The Bureau of Meteorology has advised that minor flooding is no longer expected for the Wilsons and Richmond Rivers.
The potential threat of the low-pressure trough is expected to move further north leaving Lismore and the Northern Rivers with a few millimetres in the rain gauge today and maybe 1mm tomorrow. A shower or two is the forecast for the rest of today.

In the last 24 hours, Lismore received 1mm at the airport and also at the Dawson Street gauge.
Widespread heavy showers and thunderstorms are no longer expected across the region as well.
The forecast is for the rest of the week is increasing sunny periods with Friday the looking clear and hot top of 34 degrees. Partly cloudy is the forecast for the weekend.
