The French Open, Wimbledon and the Lismore Workers Masters Games. These are some of the calendar entries for many tennis tragics around the region.

For most, watching the two international events may give players a few tips for the 2021 Lismore Workers Masters Games.

The event will take place from the 24-26 September and will be hosted by the Lismore Tennis Club and On Tour Tennis lead by the passionate team of Bianca Nugent and Dean Kyle.

Bianca and Dean are excited to be leading the program which will consist of singles, doubles and mixed doubles events.

Male and female competitors can join tennis across a number of age groups including:

  • 35-49 years
  • 50-59 years
  • 60+ years

If you require a partner for any doubles events you can indicate this at the time of registration and participants entering in the doubles or mixed doubles events must play in the age group of the youngest partner/team member.

If you are keen to know more about the event, please contact Convenor Bianca Nugent on 0429 390 701 or email ontourtennis1@gmail.com.

The Lismore Tennis Club is a great venue to host the tennis event and is located conveniently in the Lismore CBD.

The venue has 12 synthetic grass courts, a canteen, hitting wall for keen competitors who are keen to stay active during matches, a BBQ area for when you are hungry and parking is super convenient on both Ballina Road and Brewster Street.

There is also a fully stocked pro shop for competitors during the event if you need you to stock up on a grip or even restring your racquet.

The tennis competition will be competitive but fun so please register today to get your place in the draw!
