If you are heading outdoors over the next two days make sure you take the umbrella with you as we are expecting some decent rainfall.
Alinka Duma from the Bureau of Meteorology said the rain will be developing in the early hours of tomorrow morning then increasing in the afternoon and evening. This us due to a southerly cold front moving north plus some cooler air coming across the ocean.
We should see around 10-20mm in the rain gauge Thursday and a further 10-15mm on Friday which will help green up our hills and pasture land.
If you do happen to live near the coast you are expecting stronger falls in the vicinity of 15-35mm tomorrow.
Saturday morning will see some lingering showers in the morning but under 2mm to start the weekend then Sunday is looking the pick with a few clouds hanging around.
