Sydney outbreak leads to COVID button return

The latest COVID-19 outbreak in Sydney has lead to a lockdown for Greater Sydney, Wollongong, Central Coast and the Blue Mountains until 11:59pm Friday, July 9.

With restrictions coming back into place for all of NSW, the Lismore App has reintroduced the COVID-19 button on the main page.

There has been so much speculation over certain parts of the restrictions like facemask wearing or the rules on drinking & dining that we wanted to make the process of sourcing information easy.

The COVID-19 button will show you the various rule headings. Simply push on the rule that you wish to know more information about and it will link you directly to the NSW Government website.

With so much misinformation on social media, the return of the COVID-19 button will give you the facts when you conveniently want to know what they are. No more needlessly trying to navigate your way through a confusing website.

There have been 112 locally acquired cases in Sydney since Jun 16 with 110 linked to the Bondi cluster which started when a driver transported international aircrew.

There will be new numbers released at 11am this morning.
