A survey to find out how the Covid-19 pandemic is impacting on local businesses in the Northern Rivers is ready for your input.
Regional Development Australia (RDA) Northern Rivers director Tim Williamson said the Australian Business Economic Impact Survey is looking to gather information on the current situation and its impacts at a local geographic scale.
“The survey is a response to the rapid change experienced by businesses as a result of Covid-19,” Mr Williamson said.
“The national economic landscape, state to state and region to region is diverse and the survey is specifically targeting insights around change in employment and economic impact at an industry scale.
"Businesses might find it hard to complete a survey, but it is important that we get the best on the ground information that we can.
"We are all aware of the volume of misinformation and disinformation which is currently doing the rounds, so I encourage you to distribute this survey to your local industry networks and contacts to ensure a source of integrity."
Mr Williamson said insights from the survey, with analysis, will be provided to federal, state and local governments to enable a targeted response for industry and key public sector investment.
The survey is being conducted by REMPLAN and can be accessed at https://www.remplan.com.au/covid-19-australian-business-economic-impact-study/
