Sunshine Conference action returns to Lismore

Sunshine Conference Basketball action returns to Lismore on Saturday when the Lismore Storm host three games.

The Men's Division 1 team will take on the Ballina Breakers at 6:00pm in the last game of the day, with the side currently sitting second on the competition ladder.

It has been over a month since the Men's side took to the court, with a narrow loss to Coffs Harbour back in mid-September.

The Division 1 side last met Ballina in Round 2 and had a number of players out with injury and other commitments, going down 91-73.

The Storm will look to hit back with a near full-strength side on Saturday.

The Division 2 Men will tip off at 2:00pm against the Casino Kings in the day's first match.

The two sides have had several close match-ups this season, and the Storm will look to a vocal home crowd to get them over the line.

The Women's side will also play the Ballina Breakers in what should be a close encounter.

The last time the two teams met in Round 2, the Breakers took the win 65-61, and the Storm will be out for revenge on Saturday afternoon.

The Lismore Storm Junior representative teams are also on court across the weekend with Round 3 of the North Coast Shield competition on Saturday and Sunday in Ballina.

The competition will see teams from Tweed to Bellingen take the court from U/11's through to U/18's, with games starting at 7:30am and running through to 5:30pm on both days.
