Storm to face Suns in the decider

The Lismore Storm Women's team will face the Coffs Harbour Suns in the Sunshine Conference Grand Final on Saturday.

The Storm will travel to Coffs Harbour to take on the undefeated Suns on their home court and will look to inflict their first loss of the season in the most important game of the year.

The Lismore side went down to the Suns in the Major Semi Final two weeks ago and will look for a more consistent four quarters on Saturday afternoon.

The side will be led by Kiara Richardson and Makayla Greensill who have led the scoring this year but there will be plenty of firepower across the court.

Cousins Taya and Maggie Cottee have been consistent all year, Madison Pethers adds plenty of experience and youngster Emily Simpson had her best game of the year in last weekends Preliminary Final victory.

The Grand Final will tip off at 3pm with the Men's Grand Final to follow at 5pm.

The Men's Grand Final will be a close affair, with Byron Bay taking on the Valley Braves from Bellingen.

The Byron Bay side defeated the Braves in the Major Semi Final in a close match and will look to add the 2023 title to their trophy cabinet.
