As we approach the end of the school holidays with many parents back at work and wondering how to entertain the kids, Seedarts is providing an exciting option in the Lismore Quad in Magellan Street through the 'Soft Circus' project.

"After the great success of 'Soft Circus' in June 2022, we are happy to be back working with the Quad and can’t wait to play again with the Lismore community", Artistic Director Simone O'Brien said.

'Soft Circus' is a free inclusive event for the whole community featuring circus skills and 'wire-walking for wellbeing' workshops with internationally recognised circus artists including Anna Yen, Scott McBurnie and Leeroy Hart; visual art workshops with professional artists including Claudie Frock from The Collage Club and Rene Bolten of The Chalkies.

Roving performance and craft activities with Roundabout Theatre’s Valentines, dance and movement workshops with Northern Rivers dance practitioners such Sprung! Integrated Dance and Tess Eckhart and Mitch King and music from Mitch and local young people.

This project was funded by the NSW Government and delivered in association with the Lismore City Council and the Lismore Quadrangle.

• Ages: For all ages, skills and abilities
