Moderate flooding is expected for Wilsons River later this morning with the minor flood level being reached earlier this morning. The current river level is 4.98m.
There is still a Severe Weather warning for heavy rainfall for Lismore and the Northern Rivers.
The Bureau of Meteorology say the trough linked to the low pressure system off the east coast will linger over northeastern parts of the state this morning. However, later today, the low and associated trough are expected to become more mobile and shift southward, clearing rain areas from the north.

HEAVY RAINFALL which may lead to FLASH FLOODING is possible over parts of the Northern Rivers through this morning. Six-hourly rainfall totals between 60 to 100 mm remain possible, particularly about the coastal fringe and nearby ranges. These conditions are expected to ease later this morning.
A Flood Watch and multiple Flood Warnings are current for northeastern parts of the state. Locations which may be affected include Lismore, Ballina, Yamba and Maclean.

The Bureau say that major flooding is still possible at Lismore from tonight (Monday).
Moderate to heavy rainfall since Saturday evening has caused river level rises along the Wilsons River and its upper tributaries. Moderate flooding is likely at Lismore from late Monday morning, with further rises to the major flood level possible from Monday night.
Further rainfall is forecast during Monday, which may cause additional river level rises. This situation is being closely monitored, and revised predictions will be provided as necessary.
A Severe Weather Warning for heavy rainfall is current for the Northern Rivers.
Wilsons River:
Major flooding is possible along the Wilsons River at Lismore.
The Wilsons River at Lismore (AHD) is likely to exceed the moderate flood level (7.20 metres) late Monday morning. Further rises to the major flood level (9.70 metres) are possible from Monday night.
