The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to a serious motorbike accident on the outskirts of Nimbin at Blue Knob just before 5pm yesterday afternoon with the rider suffering serious injuries.

NSW Ambulance Paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team have treated and stabilised the 30yo male rider who came off his bike after he collided with a rock wall and was thrown some distance.



He has been placed in a medical induced coma and airlifted direct to GCUH with multiple injuries in a critical condition for further treatment.
