It happens every year at this time as we head closer to Tax time, scammers start to use the thrill of receiving money from your tax return to target people.

The Richmond District Police revealed this scam is back for 2020.

Watch out for scammers impersonating myGov, claiming they've made adjustments to your tax return and you're eligible for a refund. If you get an email like this DO NOT click any links or provide your personal details. If unsure, contact the ATO directly.
