It is one year since beloved local singer-songwriter Sara Tindley passed away.
Her daughter Poppy and partner Mark invite people to join in a musical celebration and commemoration of this remarkable songwriter, singer, mother, lover, farmer, booklover, gardener and dreamer this Saturday at the Starcourt Theatre.
The evening will feature performances from some of Sara’s favourite musicians and collaborators including Lucie Thorne, Ash Bell, The Yearlings, Sal Kimber, Poppy Bayley-Tindley, Jimmy Dowling, Hamish Stuart, Brett Canning and more.
"This is a night to remember Sara, celebrate her, grieve her and be around people who all feel the absence of this powerful, gracious and beautiful woman," Mark said on his Singing Farmer Organics Instagram page.
Sara and Mark had a regular stall at the Lismore Farmers Markets selling organic produce which Mark continues to do.
Tickets are $20-$30 with proceeds covering costs such as venue hire, equipment hire and technicians.
The Sara Tindley Memorial Concert is this Saturday, 13 January 2024 at 7:30pm at the Starcourt Theatre, 126 Molesworth St, Lismore.
